About The LSS
Who we are
The LSS is the elected student government of the Dalhousie Law School. We are comprised of 6 executive members, a representative from each section in first year, two representatives each from second and third year, a Black students’ rep, an Aboriginal students’ rep, a Chair and a Secretary.
What we do
The LSS represents the student voice in all aspects of the law school including social, financial, athletic and academic areas. We also nurture the relationship of Dal Law within the larger University community. Our goal is to support and develop initiatives that promote a dynamic law student experience.

- Representation at Faculty Council and Committees
- Representation at the Dalhousie Student Union

How to get involved:
- Run for an executive position in March
- Run for a class rep position in the fall
- Apply for a committee member position in the spring and fall
- Join a society
- Join an intramural sport team
- Talk to your section or year rep
