Student Societies
Student Life at Dalhousie Law is made richer through the activities and initiatives of our Student Societies. Students are encouraged to join existing groups or form their own new society.
The LSS is an A-Level society that administrates the disbursement of society funding for those falling under the LSS "umbrella." Funding amounts are determined according to policies set out by the Board of Directors.
Information for Societies
Starting your own society is as easy as gathering your group and filling out a few forms for ratification with the Dalhousie Student Union.
Please see information about signing authority transfer.
Societies
The information below is a continually updated list of societies operating within the law school. If your society is not listed or the information presented is incorrect, please let us know.
Please note, the LSS will not post personal e-mails of students online. If you wish to contact any individual listed here, students are asked to consult their copy of the Dalhousie Legal Who. Alternatively, visitors may contact the LSS here and we can forward your request.
